Love Trauma Training — Healing Traumatized Hearts
Our Trauma Training Program will focus on the topic of Awakening & Freeing the Heart to live a more joyful life.
It will teach you how to use trauma as a catalyst for transformation & how the nervous system holds the key for releasing trauma & embodying our sacred purpose. It will help you to learn how your body is a resource & how to tap into your body-centered intuition & knowing. You’ll learn how to trust the moment and work at the edge of the unknown, while simultaneously gaining enough cognitive information and specific techniques to help your mind rest and feel confident in your knowing.
This is a 2-year training offered in 4 x 6-month segments. A minimum of a 6-month commitment is required to join. This program is for participants who are open to being in an ongoing group that uses Constellation Work and other modalities to explore and heal personal and systemic trauma that is affecting your life. Family Constellations demonstrate that unconscious identifications with family members or ancestors plays a large role in our emotional conflicts, in physical illness and with spiritual distress.
Most clients who come for constellations, have some of these interruptions & or trauma in their history. It may be developmental trauma or incidental trauma. All traumatic experiences increase the activation level in our nervous system. Traumatic experiences in the nervous system and in our consciousness are passed on through the generations (epigenetics) and need to be processed. This training will focus on the importance of tracking and regulating the activation level in clients as they experience their constellations in a conscious & safe community.
In looking at trauma, we are looking at loss of connection. Loss of connection to ourselves, to our body, our life force, our souls, to our family soul, to our surroundings and to embodied presence.
When clients are over activated, their brain and bodies will not be able to fully process the constellation. When we work with the autonomic nervous system, this supports more integration of the new material revealed and more possibility to create new neural pathways and patterns of behavior for longer lasting benefits. We want to avoid retraumatization and find ways to help love flow freely again. We can best do this by avoiding "flooding" in clients and representatives.
In Relational Constellations, we focus on developmental trauma, bonding trauma, generational trauma and themes that affect our way of connecting, loving and belonging. These early traumatic relational ruptures affect the way we are in relationship. Hidden traumatic memories are locked in the fibers of our bodies. The body is the reservoir for somatic-based memories of trauma going back many generations. Historical amnesia from systemic trauma burdens our hearts and is a source of suffering.
These topics will all be addressed in the Trauma & Constellations Training. This approach supports co-regulation and attunement between facilitator and client. This in itself can heal attachment disruptions.
We will do PowerPoint presentations each weekend of the material and have time for Q&A. Much of the presentation material has been influenced by the newer somatic psychologies of working with trauma, such as Somatic Experiencing by Peter Levine.
